4J Studios invested some time out of the holiday weekend, when many are on holiday, to inform fans that they're still working on having the Playstation 3 version of Minecraft able to launch.  The developer announced on Nov 29 they are currently removing bugs from Minecraft: PS3 Edition in order to send the game to Sony in order to undergo certification testing.

Minecraft mods work nicely mcpe mods in the Alpha and Beta, but rely on using the right version to function. Just like a critical for a door, both can be perfect specimens, however they is only going to work effectively when correctly grouped together.
